About ABx Group
ABx Group Limited (ASX: ABX) is an Australian critical-minerals and rare-earth exploration and technology company with its registered office in Melbourne, Victoria, and its rare earth projects in Tasmania. ABx is the first company to discover ionic adsorption clay (IAC) rare earths in Tasmania, where its flagship Deep Leads-Rubble Mound project in northern Tasmania hosts a JORC mineral resource that has grown to roughly 89 million tonnes averaging about 844 ppm total rare earth oxide, with one of the highest proportions of the magnet elements dysprosium and terbium of any clay-hosted resource globally. The company also targets neodymium and praseodymium for permanent magnets, and holds established gibbsite bauxite assets at Binjour (Queensland) and Taralga (New South Wales). Through its 83%-owned subsidiary ALCORE, ABx is developing aluminium-fluoride refining technology at a pilot plant near Rio Tinto’s Bell Bay smelter. In 2026 ABx secured additional Tasmanian rare-earth exploration licences and moved Deep Leads toward development.
