About Vital Metals
Vital Metals Limited (ASX: VML) is an Australian rare earths development company focused on the Nechalacho project in the Northwest Territories of Canada, one of North America’s higher-grade rare earth deposits. The company’s development focus is the Tardiff deposit at Nechalacho, which hosts a measured and indicated resource of about 192.7 million tonnes at 1.3% total rare earth oxide, containing the magnet rare earths neodymium and praseodymium plus niobium. A 2025 scoping study returned a post-tax NPV of around US$445 million, with a pre-feasibility study targeted for 2026. After earlier halting bastnaesite mining and the bankruptcy of its Saskatoon processing subsidiary, Vital reshaped its leadership and balance sheet in 2025, securing strategic investment from Strategic Resources LLC and additional placements to advance Tardiff toward redevelopment.
