About Glomar Minerals
Glomar Minerals, Inc. is an American critical minerals company, incorporated in Delaware and founded in 2025, dedicated to exploring, collecting and processing seabed polymetallic nodules to secure a long-term domestic supply of essential materials. In 2025 Glomar acquired UK Seabed Resources (UKSR), building on prior work by Lockheed Martin and Loke Marine Minerals, and through that subsidiary holds two exploration contracts for polymetallic nodules in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean. The International Seabed Authority contracts are held through UKSR and sponsored by the UK Department for Business and Trade. Its license areas contain significant quantities of nickel, manganese, cobalt, iron, copper and rare earth elements. Glomar’s flagship Project Infinity, a consortium formed in March 2026 with Australia’s Cobalt Blue Holdings (ASX:COB), aims to build and operate what would be the first commercial polymetallic nodule refinery in the United States, processing up to 200,000 tonnes of nodules per year into manganese, cobalt sulfate, nickel and copper, with rare-earth-bearing residue. Finalist sites include North Carolina, the Texas Gulf Coast and Greater New Orleans.
