About Cobalt Blue
Cobalt Blue Holdings Limited (ASX: COB; OTC: CBBHF) is an Australian critical-minerals mining and processing company headquartered in Sydney, New South Wales, focused on building diversified cobalt and battery-materials supply chains outside China. Its foundational asset is the Broken Hill Cobalt Project (BHCP) in western NSW, one of the few primary cobalt-sulphide deposits globally not produced as a by-product, supported by the Broken Hill Technology Centre demonstration plant.
Cobalt Blue is advancing the proposed Kwinana Cobalt Refinery in Western Australia, designed to be Australia’s first dedicated cobalt refinery, producing battery-grade cobalt sulphate crystals and alloy-grade cobalt for lithium-ion battery precursor (pCAM) and defence markets. In 2026 the company confirmed its cobalt sulphate met stringent battery precursor specifications and upgraded Kwinana’s economics as cobalt prices surged, moving the refinery toward a final investment decision.
