MS-Schramberg GmbH & Co. KG is a privately held German manufacturer of permanent magnets and magnet assemblies, headquartered in Schramberg, Germany. A downstream player in the rare earth supply chain, the company employs roughly 450 people and generates around 100 million euros in annual revenue across three manufacturing plants. MS-Schramberg produces sintered hard ferrite magnets and sintered rare earth magnets, including neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) and samarium-cobalt grades, as well as plastic-bonded magnets and complex magnetic system solutions. The company manages the full value chain in-house, from material selection through its own tool shop and jig department to finished assemblies, and has developed more than 5,000 customer-specific products. It supplies industries including automotive, electrical engineering, automation, energy, environmental and medical technology. MS-Schramberg has announced plans to establish its own manufacturing operations in the United States to diversify its footprint.
