About Ningbo Zhanhao
Ningbo Zhanhao New Material is a Chinese rare-earth magnetic materials manufacturer based in Cixi, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, specializing in rapid-solidification NdFeB (neodymium-iron-boron) magnetic alloy flakes — a critical upstream feedstock for high-performance permanent magnets. The company is a subsidiary of state-controlled China Northern Rare Earth (Group) High-Tech Co. and is one of four magnetic-material enterprises integrated to form Inner Mongolia Northern Rare Earth Magnetic Materials Co. Ningbo Zhanhao has built a highly automated operation featuring automated feeding, intelligent guided vehicles and digital manufacturing, enabling a claimed three-day order-to-delivery turnaround. Its neodymium, praseodymium and dysprosium-based alloy flakes supply new-energy-vehicle traction motors and intelligent control systems, with expansion planned into robotics, drones and China’s low-altitude economy. The firm ranked second in industrial output among Cixi City’s top ten industrial enterprises, underscoring its growing role in China’s rare-earth magnet supply chain.
Its legal name is 宁波包钢展昊新材料有限公司. China Northern Rare Earth’s 2025 annual report lists it as a 66.90%-held subsidiary with its place of business in Cixi.
