Sichuan Hedi Mining Development

Sichuan Hedi Mining Development Co., Ltd. (四川和地矿业发展有限公司) is a provincial state-owned company that holds the mining right to the Dalucao rare earth deposit in Dechang County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan. A profile on the website of its parent, Sichuan Geology and Mineral (Group) Co., describes it as a wholly owned subsidiary and says it is the only provincial state-owned company in Sichuan with rare earth access qualification and a rare earth mining right. The same profile states rare earth oxide resources and reserves of 530,000 metric tons within the licensed elevation range. The company began in November 1995 as a Dechang County polymetallic trial mining and processing plant and was restructured under its current name in August 2019. Cailian Press reported in March 2023 that China Rare Earth Group had taken over the Dalucao No. 3 rare earth mine.
