About Sunrise Energy Metals
Sunrise Energy Metals Limited (ASX: SRL; OTCQX: SREMF) is an Australian metals company with its principal place of business and registered office at Level 23, North Tower, 80 Collins Street, Melbourne. Its flagship is the 100%-owned Syerston Scandium Project in central New South Wales. It also owns the adjacent Sunrise Nickel-Cobalt Project, which it says remains uneconomic because of surplus nickel and cobalt supply and a depressed nickel price. Sunrise reports a Syerston Mineral Resource containing 21,090 tonnes of scandium at a 300 ppm cut-off, and a March 2026 Feasibility Study for an initial 60 tonnes a year of scandium oxide. It has scheduled a final investment decision for the second half of 2026. Sunrise also invests in patented scandium alloys aimed at military, aerospace and automotive markets.
