About Tridelta Magnetsysteme
The TRIDELTA business group is a privately held, family-owned German industrial group specializing in technical ceramics, magnetism, sintering technology and toolmaking, supplying the automotive, electrical, chemical and mechanical-engineering sectors. Within magnetic materials, TRIDELTA is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of hard magnetic materials, producing magnetic powders and segments and around 14,000 tonnes of hard ferrite material annually. Its TRIDELTA Hartferrite unit makes ceramic permanent magnets, while TRIDELTA Magnetsysteme GmbH, based in Dortmund, specializes in permanent-magnet drive technologies, magnetic clutches, brakes and assemblies and trades rare-earth magnets such as neodymium-iron-boron and samarium-cobalt. The group’s roots date to the 1890s, with hard and soft magnetic ferrites developed in the early 1950s. While much of its production centers on rare-earth-free ferrite magnets, TRIDELTA participates in the broader permanent-magnet supply chain that includes rare-earth-based NdFeB and SmCo magnet trading and assembly for high-tech applications.
