(贵研铂业), is a state-owned precious-metals materials company headquartered in Kunming, Yunnan Province, and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (600459). Tracing its roots to the Kunming Institute of Precious Metals, it develops and produces precious-metal functional materials, including catalysts, high-purity materials, electronic pastes, brazing alloys and specialty metals, and recycles and trades platinum-group metals. It serves catalysis, electronics, aerospace, automotive and clean-energy markets. The listed company completed its change of name in February 2026 and kept the short name 贵研铂业. REEx has found no rare earth business, and lists it as an adjacent critical-minerals company.
