About Quebec Precious Metals (Fury)
Quebec Precious Metals Corporation was a Canadian gold and critical minerals exploration company whose assets, including a heavy rare earth portfolio, were acquired by Fury Gold Mines Limited in April 2025, after which Quebec Precious Metals was delisted from the TSX Venture Exchange. Through the transaction, Fury Gold Mines (TSX/NYSE American: FURY) added the Kipawa heavy rare earth element project, located about 50 kilometres east of Temiscaming in southwestern Quebec and held in partnership with Investissement Quebec. Kipawa hosts a historical reserve of roughly 19.8 million tonnes grading about 0.411% total rare earth oxides, enriched in heavy rare earth elements such as dysprosium, terbium and yttrium used in permanent magnets. The acquired portfolio also includes the Sakami and Elmer gold exploration projects, expanding Fury’s Quebec land package to over 157,000 hectares. The legacy Quebec Precious Metals rare earth assets now form part of Fury Gold Mines’ critical minerals exposure.
Historical record: Quebec Precious Metals was acquired by Fury Gold Mines on April 28, 2025, and no longer operates as an independent public company.
