AMR Mineral Metal Inc

AMR Mineral Metal Inc. (also referenced as AMR Mineral and Metal, Inc. and AMR Minerals and Metals, Inc.) is a privately held mineral exploration company that has explored the Aksu Diamas heavy mineral placer at Çanaklı in Burdur Province, southwestern Turkey, for uranium, thorium, rare earth elements and other heavy minerals. British Geological Survey researchers list the company as based in Vancouver, Canada (2019).

The Aksu Diamas deposit was first recognized in 2006. AMR identified a resource of 454 million metric tons containing magnetite, zircon, titanite and ilmenite alongside rare-earth-bearing allanite, chevkinite, bastnäsite and minor monazite, at an average grade of 0.07% total rare earth oxide. AMR has operated a pilot processing plant at the site, where rare earths would be a by-product of magnetite (iron) production.
