About TJ Namibia Rare Earths Corporation

TJ Namibia Rare Earths Corporation is a special purpose company for the Lofdal heavy rare earth project in the Kunene Region of Namibia, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo. JOGMEC says Toyota Tsusho established it in June 2026; Namibia Critical Metals describes it as jointly owned by JOGMEC and Toyota Tsusho and as the company that will hold Japan’s 50% participating interest in Lofdal. That interest is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange and Namibia Critical Metals shareholders, which that company said on August 31, 2026 it was still working to obtain. JOGMEC announced in July 2026 that it had decided to invest up to C$47.668 million in TJ, with an initial investment on July 23, 2026. JOGMEC and Toyota Tsusho are conducting a definitive feasibility study through TJ and aim to decide on commercialization during fiscal 2026.
