About Rosatom Nedra (formerly ARMZ / Atomredmetzoloto)
ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. (Atomredmetzoloto, JSC) is the mining division of Russia’s state-owned nuclear corporation Rosatom. Headquartered in Moscow, Russia, ARMZ explores, mines and processes uranium and associated critical and rare metals essential to the nuclear fuel cycle. The state-owned enterprise controls major Russian uranium assets and holds a significant stake in Uranium One Group, which it consolidated after acquiring Canada-based Uranium One Inc.; Uranium One is now an indirect Rosatom subsidiary owned by Atomenergoprom and ARMZ. Beyond uranium, ARMZ’s portfolio spans scandium and other rare and critical elements recovered from its operations. As a sovereign-controlled producer, ARMZ is central to Russia’s strategy of securing domestic and export supply of uranium and critical minerals.
Atomredmetzoloto was renamed Rosatom Nedra (legal English name Rosatom Minerals JSC) in June 2024. It is the managing company of Rosatom’s mining division, whose enterprises include Lovozersky GOK and Solikamsk Magnesium Works.
