About Fujian Golden Dragon Rare-Earth
Fujian Golden Dragon Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. (福建省金龙稀土股份有限公司) is a rare earth producer headquartered in Changting County, Longyan, Fujian Province. It is a controlling subsidiary of Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. (SSE 600549), which holds about 65.2% and is itself controlled by Fujian Rare Earth Group under the Fujian provincial SASAC. Its business covers rare earth separation, metals, phosphors and NdFeB magnets.
In Baotou, Inner Mongolia, its magnet unit Jinlong Rare Earth New Materials (Baotou) put a first 5,000-metric-ton-per-year sintered NdFeB line into production in June 2025, with a further 15,000 metric tons planned. It also holds 49% of Northern Jinlong (Baotou) Rare Earth, a joint venture with China Northern Rare Earth (51%) that is building a 5,000-metric-ton-per-year rare earth oxide separation line due for completion by the end of 2026.
