About Tianhe Magnetic Materials
Baotou Tianhe Magnetics Technology Co., Ltd. (Tianhe Magnetic Materials) is a Chinese rare-earth permanent-magnet manufacturer headquartered in Baotou, Inner Mongolia, and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange under ticker 603072. Founded in 2008, the company researches, produces and sells high-performance sintered neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) and sintered samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnets, drawing on rare-earth elements including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium. Its magnets supply new-energy vehicles, wind-power generators, 3C consumer electronics, intelligent manufacturing and emerging humanoid-robotics and low-altitude-economy applications. Tianhe held roughly 21.5% of Inner Mongolia’s sintered NdFeB market in 2023, ranking first regionally. In recent developments the company announced a CNY 900 million investment to build a new high-performance rare-earth magnet, component and equipment manufacturing and R&D base in Baotou, expanding output capacity to meet rising domestic and export demand.
