About ZAO “GK” Partomchorr” (PAO “FosAgro”)
The Partomchorr project, held under PhosAgro PJSC (PAO FosAgro) via its mining subsidiary JSC Apatit, is a large apatite-nepheline deposit in the Khibiny massif of the Murmansk Region, Russia, with significant associated rare-earth-element potential. PhosAgro is one of the world’s leading phosphate-fertilizer producers, headquartered in Moscow and listed on the Moscow Exchange (PHOR) with a former London GDR listing. Khibiny apatite concentrate is naturally enriched in rare-earth elements, and PhosAgro has pursued recovery of REEs such as cerium, lanthanum, neodymium and yttrium from apatite and phosphogypsum by-products, including a technology memorandum with Belgium’s Prayon Group. The Partomchorr (Partomchorrskoye) deposit represents a long-term resource expansion beyond PhosAgro’s six operating Khibiny mines around Kirovsk. The asset positions Russia to potentially extract strategic rare earths as a co-product of its phosphate operations, reducing reliance on imported critical-mineral feedstock.
Likely duplicate of the Russia records ‘Apatit JSC (PhosAgro PJSC)’ (187416) and ‘Khibiny (Partomchorrskoye)’ (2913); retained, not merged.
