Highlights
- IMC Rare Earths recorded a peak sample of 3,099 ppm yttrium oxide at its Itarantim ionic-clay project in Brazil, with intercepts of 7m at 2,052 ppm and 13m at 1,287 ppm.
- Block H discoveries extend beyond the existing 1.1-billion-tonne Inferred resource, but sixteen samples exceeded ALS's yttrium leach-solution measurement limit, requiring modeled recovery estimates.
- Dysprosium and terbium could drive project economics more than yttrium's 36% share of rare earth oxide content by mass suggests, but offtake agreements and Chinese separation dependence remain unresolved.
