About Noveon Magnetics
Noveon Magnetics, Inc. is a U.S. manufacturer of sintered rare-earth permanent magnets headquartered in San Marcos, Texas. Founded in 2014 (formerly Urban Mining Company), Noveon was the first company to reshore full-scale production of sintered neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnets to the United States and remains the sole domestic producer of finished NdFeB magnetic materials. Its proprietary Magnet-to-Magnet recycling process produces high-performance EcoFlux magnets from either virgin feedstock or fully recycled magnets, cutting energy use by up to 90% versus conventional methods. The magnets contain neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium and serve automotive, defense, AI, energy and advanced-manufacturing markets. Noveon holds multi-year supply agreements with General Motors and ABB and partnerships with Lynas and Solvay. In late 2025 the company closed a $215 million Series C led by One Investment Management to expand capacity beyond 2,000 tonnes per year.
