Highlights
- Neo Performance Materials is now shipping automotive-qualified sintered rare-earth magnets from its Narva, Estonia facility to a Tier 1 EV traction-motor customer.
- Phase 1A carries roughly 2,000 tonnes per year nameplate capacity, with two to three Tier 1 programs expected in commercial production by year-end.
- Narva's proximity to Neo's Silmet separation operation and secured Dy/Tb supply from Caremag creates an emerging oxide-to-magnet pathway in Europe.
- Phase 1B expansion to 5,000 tonnes and a longer-term 20,000-tonne global target remain in planning stages, not yet operating capacity.
- The critical test ahead is whether Narva can scale utilization while maintaining automotive yields, margins, and secure NdPr/Dy/Tb supply.
