About Defense Metals
Defense Metals Corp. (TSXV: DEFN; OTCQB: DFMTF; FSE: 35D) is a Canadian rare-earth mineral development company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its flagship asset is the 100%-owned Wicheeda Rare Earth Element Project near Prince George, British Columbia, one of the most advanced undeveloped rare-earth deposits in North America. The carbonatite-hosted deposit is enriched in the magnet rare earths neodymium and praseodymium, alongside cerium and lanthanum, and metallurgical testing has produced concentrate grades near 50% rare-earth oxides. Defense Metals completed a 2025 NI 43-101 Pre-Feasibility Study defining a mineral reserve and is advancing engineering, drilling and permitting toward production. In 2026 the company commenced a spring core-drill program and received conditional approval for up to C$1.88 million from Canada’s Critical Minerals Infrastructure Fund to support clean-energy and transportation infrastructure for the project.
