HEFA Rare Earth Canada Co. Ltd. is a privately held rare-earth materials supplier and processor based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, serving as the North American arm of Baotou HEFA Rare Earth in China. Founded in 1998, the company provides Canadian and North American customers with direct access to rare-earth raw materials and intermediate products used in permanent-magnet and battery manufacturing. Its catalogue spans single rare-earth oxides, chlorides, carbonates, nitrates and fluorides; mixed rare-earth oxides and concentrates; single rare-earth metals; battery-grade mischmetal; hydrogen-storage alloy powders; and nickel-metal-hydride cells. The product range covers elements such as neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, lanthanum and cerium. Operating from ISO-certified facilities, HEFA functions as a midstream distributor and processor that links Baotou’s large-scale Chinese rare-earth production with downstream magnet, alloy and battery makers across the Americas.
