Overview

About Mkango Magnetic Materials (formerly Mkango Resources)

Mkango Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based rare earth exploration and development company dual-listed on London’s AIM market and the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker MKA. Its flagship asset is the Songwe Hill rare earths project in southeast Malawi, a carbonatite-hosted deposit, complemented by the Pulawy rare earth separation plant project in Poland, giving Mkango an integrated mine-to-magnet-materials strategy across neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium. Updated feasibility work assigns Songwe Hill a post-tax net present value of roughly US$339 million and the Pulawy separation plant about US$779 million. The company, through subsidiary Mkango Rare Earths, is also active in rare earth and magnet recycling. In early 2026 Mkango entered a business combination with Crown PropTech Acquisitions, filing a Form F-4 with the SEC and intending to list on Nasdaq under tickers MKAR and MKARW, advancing its position in the Western rare earth supply chain.

Mkango Resources Ltd. changed its name to Mkango Magnetic Materials Limited effective September 23, 2026. Its head office is in Vancouver.
