About Brazilian Rare Earths
Brazilian Rare Earths Limited (ASX: BRE) is an Australian-listed rare-earth and critical-minerals company exploring a district-scale, high-grade rare-earth province in north-eastern Brazil. Headquartered in Sydney and listed on the ASX in December 2023, its flagship Rocha da Rocha Province in Bahia state hosts exceptional monazite-hosted grades up to 46% total rare earth oxides with strong neodymium-praseodymium content, plus the notable Monte Alto discovery. The company targets the magnet rare earths central to electric vehicles, wind turbines and defence.
BRE raised about A$200 million to fund drilling, metallurgical testwork and a 2026 pilot plant in Brazil’s mining-friendly Bahia. It is also advancing a plan to demerge its Amargosa bauxite assets into a separate ASX-listed entity in 2026, sharpening its focus on the Rocha da Rocha rare-earth province, where its market capitalisation has grown substantially over the past year.
