About Ucore Rare Metals
Ucore Rare Metals Inc. is a Canadian rare-earth element processing and development company headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV: UCU). Founded in 2006, Ucore is commercializing its proprietary RapidSX solvent-extraction technology for separating rare earth elements into individual oxides. The company is building its first commercial Strategic Metals Complex (SMC) at an 80,800-square-foot brownfield facility in the England Airpark, Alexandria, Louisiana, USA, supported by U.S. Department of Defense funding, with planned capacity scaling from 2,000 tpa in 2026 toward 7,500 tpa by 2028. Ucore targets light and heavy rare earths including neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium. Its longer-term pipeline includes the 100%-owned Bokan-Dotson Ridge heavy rare-earth project on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska, plus planned complexes in Canada, positioning the company to challenge Chinese dominance of the North American REE supply chain.
