About Serra Verde
Serra Verde Group is a rare-earth mining company operating the Pela Ema mine near Minaçu in Goiás state, Brazil, where its Brazilian operating company is headquartered. Using open-pit mining and ionic-clay processing, Serra Verde produces a mixed rare earth carbonate (MREC) carrying neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium, which customers separate into individual oxides. Commissioning, first production and initial sales of MREC took place in 2024, with backing from Denham Capital and other investors. USA Rare Earth (Nasdaq: USAR) completed its merger with Serra Verde on September 3, 2026, for $300 million in cash and 126,849,307 USAR shares.
