About MP Materials
MP Materials Corp. is a Las Vegas-headquartered rare earth mining and magnet-manufacturing company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: MP) and the largest producer of rare earth materials in the Western Hemisphere. It owns and operates Mountain Pass in California, the only integrated rare earth mining and processing site in the United States, producing record NdPr oxide volumes. MP spans the full supply chain from extraction and separation through metal and magnet making. Its Independence facility in Fort Worth, Texas has commenced commercial NdPr metal production and trial output of automotive-grade sintered neodymium-iron-boron (NdFeB) magnets. In 2025 MP announced a multibillion-dollar partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense to build a second magnet plant (the “10X Facility”) and a long-term agreement with Apple to supply recycled-content magnets beginning in 2027, targeting an estimated 10,000 tonnes of annual U.S. magnet capacity.
